what they had to say about my training technique.

I would like to offer a personal recommendation and testimony to the capabilities of Lester Johnson as a Personal Fitness Coach.  Lester is very knowledgeable and provides a comprehensive approach to fitness through both diet and exercise.  He offers variety in his approach to keep the level of interest high for the client.  Lester is also very reliable.  In the 7 months that I have trained with him, he has always delivered on his commitments.  He is professional, tactful and very pleasant to work with.

I would strongly recommend Les to anyone who is serious about their fitness, and demands the support coaching of a true, committed, and professional.

Our family has had the opportunity to be affiliated with Mr. Lester Johnson as the trainer for our son,  Corperryale (Manny) Harris.  We have great appreciation for his contribution in the development of our son Manny.  He was instrumental in enhancing his weight training regiment and also mentoring him on issues that  has made him a notable athlete.
Manny to date is a Sophomore at University of Michigan playing the position of  guard on the basketball team. Mr. Johnson  was responsible for teaching him discipline and assisted in developing his potentials and confidence .  During his high school experience, Mr. Johnson spent many hours in training Manny physically and teaching him the importance of his diet and necessary nutrients to make him stronger and  competitive. He assisted in leading Manny to an outstanding high school career that awarded him a scholarship to University of Michigan. He has since acquired many accolades as an great team player and leader in his freshman year.
We highly recommend Lester Johnson as a trainer of any need to satisfy a  fitness or weight training program, sports performance, consultation and mentorship. Mr. Johnson is the owner of  We Train Performance and the we are indebted and extremely satisfied with his performance and his commitment as a health and fitness trainer.

I highly recommend Mr. Lester Johnson as a highly respected personal trainer.  My husband and I first met Lester at an AAU Basketball Tournament a couple of years ago. He is a very personable, dependable, and caring person.

Our son Darryl, as well as ourselves took a liking to him immediately.  After a lengthy conversation with Lester, Darryl had asked us if we would retain him as his personal trainer.  In the great amount of time he spent with Darryl we viewed a wonderful mentor for our son.  He was always on time, and very supportive.  He always goes that extra mile and  pays special attention to the needs of each individual child.  He is concerned with the child as a whole, grades, future plans, and is always there for them.  Lester offers the children an open door policy when it comes to being a friend as well as a trainer that watches them at their games.  He is always in support of them.

Working with Lester, my son has benefited greatly.  He has learned how to eat properly and maintain a respect for both his body and the sport, he is involved in.  He has learned how to maintain body tone.  He has learned how to open up, be a team player and respect for others.  In all, he has vastly matured since having personal contact with Lester.

My husband, Demetrus is a City of Detroit Police Officer, stationed with the eastern district. He has been involved with many sport programs through Detroit for the youth.  Having become acquainted with Lester Johnson, my husband Demetrus stated that he would be very proud to have him as a team member with any youth program he would coach.  I am employed at St. Clare of Montefalco, in Grosse Pointe Park, as an office assistant/lunch room coordinator/fundraising assistant.

I am writing this letter in reference to Lester Johnson.  I coach youth basketball and football and consider Lester a valuable asset as a friend and fellow coach.  Lester has committed time to helping my travel basketball team develop discipline, strength and confidence.

A couple of years ago, I found out that Lester was doing performance training and I asked him to come and take a look at my travel team.  At the time I was coaching a group of 7th grade boys that had a wide range of skill, conditioning and commitment.  Lester came in and donated more of his time than we could afford to provide a great workout for the boys.  In addition to the work he performed at practices, he gave additional direction and tips for the boys to further enhance their performance.  This information was provided without a thought to the loss of potential income as Lester was starting his business in performance training.

After working with Lester, my team went on to make it to the semi-finals of the USSSA National tournament.  We were in good shape mentally and physically after a month of workouts with Lester.

Since that time, I have consulted with Lester on a number of occasions for tips and exercises for various athletes.  He is such a giving person that he provides information without regard to how the information impacts his business.

He is a great person that shows he cares about the well-being of the athletes that he works with.  He was extremely patient and still demanding of the group of boys that I coached.  He is detailed in his explanations so that youth and their parents understand.  He provides guidance on exercise, diet, mindset and commitment.

I have looked for ways for Lester to come in and train our high school teams and my youth football teams.  I highly recommend Lester as I believe he is a committed person that loves to see youth succeed.

The purpose of this letter is to provide a personal letter of reference for Lester Johnson.  I have known Mr. Johnson for approximately one year.  My first exposure to him was at Father Gabriel Richard High School in Ann Arbor , MI .  He was a trainer for my son’s freshman basketball team.  My son (Alex) spoke highly of Mr. Johnson’s techniques for getting the team into shape for the season.

I subsequently hired Mr. Johnson in late spring of 2008 as a personal trainer for Alex, who wished to improve his overall strength in preparation for football, basketball and golf.  Mr. Johnson came to our home three to four times a week to work with Alex on strength training.  I have been amazed by the progress that Alex has made.  He is a starting football player on both offense and defense and was also appointed team co-captain.

Mr. Johnson also mentored Alex about life lessons.  He talked to him about respect for his mother and other significant people in his life, making good decisions and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.  Alex listens to Mr. Johnston and has developed a rapport with him that has had many positive outcomes.  My son is focused on his schoolwork and continues his weight training weekly with Mr. Johnson.

In closing, I would recommend Mr. Johnson as a fine role model and mentor for any high school athlete looking to improve his fitness and lifestyle.

I was initially impressed with Lester Johnson’s enthusiasm, communication skills and professional demeanor when I started sending my 17 year old to him for professional training 2 years ago.

During the past 2 years Lester has improved my son’s physical and mental self-esteem. He has motivated him to excel on the football field and in the class room.  He has reinforced all the moral qualities that are needed for a young man to succeed in today’s society.

Lester is reliable, dedicated and eternally upbeat and demonstrates the ability to multitask effectively and is able to handle a high-volume workload.   Lester’s team player mind-set, enthusiastic embracement to change and his unwavering commitment to exceeding expectations allow him to standout amongst his competitors.

Lester has always provided an outstanding level of service, professionalism and follow-through.  He is well organized and diligent with his work output; and he truly wants to see his clients succeed. He has been a special addition to my son’s life and my wife and I are so appreciative.

I am a Certified Information Systems Audit Manager with a major Catholic Healthcare System in Warren, Michigan.  I Graduated from Rice University (Houston, Texas) with a BA in Accounting/Finance.  My wife and I are very serious about our children’s education and physical health.  Lester has helped our son achieve his dream of competing at a high level in high school sports.

Lester is a hardworking, top-performing professional. He has my highest recommendation, and I am happy to furnish more details if you would like additional information.

This is a reference letter on behalf of Mr. Les Johnson whom I have known for 3 years from 2005 to present.  Mr. Les Johnson was referred to us as an exceptional fitness trainer at the time that my 14-year old basketball/soccer player needed extensive discipline in work habits and fitness training.  In fact, he already had a trainer at the time and we were reluctant to try Mr. Johnson in place of the previous trainer.

Mr. Johnson then made a short presentation to us which was very convincing and impressive.  He was also strongly recommended by some coaches, other groups and schools that he has worked with and some of his family members had high regards for him.  Immediately, we recognized that he comes from a strong family background where there is respect, honor and love.  We quickly engaged him to the joy of my son as his new trainer.  We quickly realized that Mr. Johnson is caring and dedicated.  His love for his job is evident, the manner that he undertook to train and discipline my son Eso is commendable.  The impact on Eso is very noticeable as this has raised his game, improved his confidence and stamina. We quickly introduced him to other friends and other athletes for training.  Every one of these families welcomed him anytime, and welcomed his professional judgment and his recommendation in nutrition for the boys.

Les has an outstanding resume for his past achievements in sports and more importantly for the young athletes that he trained who are now in different Universities playing for Division 1 and 2 NCAA schools.  Les is a trustworthy family man of very good character.  He is very dedicated to his clients, and to my surprise, he attends both in-State and out-of-State tournaments for most of his clients, including my son’s.  With his family most of the time, he also attends other associated events for the athletes such as award banquets and that is also a source of motivation.  We accept him very much as a family member.

I will not hesitate towards recommending him and testifying to his character.
